For some people, taking a year out of school might involve a trip to Europe. For Aaron, it meant starting a premium frozen pizza business. His interest in gluten-free and dairy-free foods stemmed from his competitive tennis days in high school. Looking to shed some weight and get more energized and focused, Aaron took his Mom’s advice to take gluten and dairy out of his diet, which ultimately caused him to lose almost 20 pounds within a couple of months. He began searching for a good tasting allergy sensitive frozen pizza but failed to find one. Inspired by the lack of taste and variety of specialty pizzas in the supermarket, Aaron got creative and started experimenting with his own pizza toppings. That experiment eventually became a project for an Introduction to Entrepreneurship class that turned into the blueprint for BOLD Organics. In his free time (which he has very little of), Aaron can be found playing tennis, basketball, running, and biking. He is also an avid sports fan – especially tennis and Novak Djokovic, the gluten free tennis king.

Sasha began showing his entrepreneurial zeal at a young age when he orchestrated sidewalk sales to share his favorite toys he had outgrown with other children in the neighborhood. His understanding of how to lead a salesforce and build a strong team was formed during his college years when he founded, grew and managed two apparel businesses with 40+ person teams that created custom swag for college students across the country. Sasha was one of the first taste testers of BOLD pizzas when Aaron brought in samples at the culmination of the entrepreneurship class they had together where Aaron first explored the idea of bringing great tasting allergen free foods to the masses… Needless to say he was hooked on the first bite. When the opportunity was present for Sasha to join the BOLD team as the Sales Manager, it was a perfect fit for him to fuse his passions for connecting with people and sharing great tasting food with consumers around the country. When not on the road hosting BOLD Organics tasting parties with store buyers you can find Sasha in his apartment hosting tasting parties of his own creations with friends.

Justin’s history began with BOLD Organics when he returned to school to study for his MBA at Washington University. He became intrigued with the entrepreneurial concept of developing a healthy food company while working with the venture capital fund at school. Justin also had a background in accounting and a CPA prior to returning for his graduate degree, so he was energized to join the BOLD team and help out with the back office aspects of getting delicious gluten-free pizzas to the masses. Justin is responsible for the core functions of Accounting, Finance, and Operations at Bold Organics. Justin grew up in St. Louis, MO. When he is not working, he can be found walking in Central Park, home-brewing, or checking out new restaurants with his friends.
